Meet Erin Evans
Erin Evans is a committed public servant with a strong foundation in community advocacy and public policy. A native of Orlando, Florida, she earned a B.A. in Communications from the University of West Florida and an M.S. from Murray State University. Erin began her career as an educator in Orlando’s public school system before relocating to Davidson County in 1996.
In Tennessee, she worked for the Tennessee General Assembly and later served as a learning and development director in the financial services industry. After settling in Hermitage, Erin became actively engaged in community service, holding leadership roles in several key organizations:

Neighbor 2 Neighbor (formerly Neighborhoods Resource Center) – Board Member
Metro Beautification Commission – District 12 Representative
Metro Citizens Police Academy – 2017 Graduate

Metro Water Services Citizens Water Academy – 2019 Graduate
Erin was elected to the Metro Nashville Council on August 1, 2019, representing District 12. During her time on the Council, she has served on the following committees:

Planning and Zoning
Public Health and Safety (Chair)
As Chair of the Public Health and Safety Committee, Erin partnered with Vice Mayor Angie Henderson to lead a series of special-called meetings focused on domestic violence in Davidson County. These meetings identified critical systemic gaps and directly contributed to the approval of new positions in the FY2026 Metro budget to address these issues.
